1. The traditional monogram order: The last initial of the last name goes in the middle, and is larger than the other two. 2. As an alternative to the three-letter initial, try a single letter with two dots on each side. It's modern and sleek and can be passed down to other people. 3. To use a nickname or not? If you're doing a monogram, go with the legal name. 4. Break the rules: Don't feel you have to use initials. Put an address on a cocktail napkin. Or add the last name to a tote bag-then the whole family can use it. 5. When placing a monogram order it is sometimes confusing which letter goes were. We suggest providing us with the full names and the style choice you would like for the monogram and we will place the letters in the proper place. If you do not see the style choice you want just send us a note.
